July 7, 2017
My April 21 column included an interview with Dave Hamby, who was about to launch a season-long contest at Rookery South. Players who try to win an Odyssey putter with a great shot on the short par-3 9th also earn discount coupons for local restaurants and businesses
Toby Richardson of Milton won the first Odyssey putter of the season June 15. His tee shot ended up four inches directly behind the hole.
A drawing among those who played will determine the next putter winner, if no one makes a qualifying winning shot by the end of July.
